The biggest problem with political correctness is its net effect on society. People don’t talk to each other anymore because someone told them that they have a right to not be offended, ever, over anything, even if offending them is the right thing to do.
We’re not supposed to use terms like “winner” anymore, because “losers” find the term offensive. We’re not supposed to talk about such antiquated terms as “right” or “wrong” because in a politically correct open society, there is no such thing, and to suggest that there is might offend someone, namely the wrong.

Likewise in politics, we’re not supposed to use terms like “communist” or “socialist” to describe those who subscribe to communist or socialist principles and policies. They prefer to be called “progressive” or “liberals” or “democrats” now.

And God forbid if someone who believes in foundational American values ever stumbles into a room full of “progressives.” We’re not even supposed to talk to each other because aside from potentially offending each other, we might actually make some sense to each other and then where would that leave all the politicians who need all Americans to be divided into nice neat voting blocs, easy to pander to?

When former Senator Phil Gramm recently suggested that the nation of what ever it takes winners had turned into a nation of do nothing “whiners,” people across the country were horrifically offended - Whiners of course. He was right, by the way.

But being a stupid whiner is not offensive. Calling people stupid whiners, who say and do stupid things, is offensive though… and since we are not supposed to call anything by its rightful name anymore, we have entire generations who no longer know what anything is…

Most Americans don’t know that “universal health care” is “socialized medicine.” Most don’t know that “social welfare” is “socialism.” Few know that “the goal of socialism is communism” because most wrongly think that communism died with the fall of the Soviet Union. And the Americans who believe in and support these ideas, “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need,” have overlooked the reality that Marx and his notions were far from “American.”

Because Americans have not been allowed to access full unfettered truth for decades now, they make the biggest decisions of their lives on the basis of false propaganda. Hidden beneath progressive sounding new titles are the old regressive notions of socialism and communism and the average American voter is without a foundation from which to discern fact from fiction.

Truth is lost in a sea of lies hidden beneath a progressive sounding name. What we now call “fact” was not so long ago recognized by average Americans as leftist propaganda – lies.

Before political correctness infected all of American society, facts were those stubborn things supported by hard evidence, that didn’t have a political side in the fight. Now they are those things cherry-picked or invented by political operatives, not on the basis of reality, but rather on the basis of how they fit the agenda at hand.

In the good ole days, Americans allowed the hard facts to develop their opinions and political views. Today, political views and agendas are allowed to develop suitable supportive facts, even if they have to be invented from thin air.

Political correctness is nothing more than a means of silencing political debate. The end result is a society that never talks to each other, now too confused to separate real facts from politically driven fiction.

The average American seldom reads beyond the headlines to the body of the column before deciding they are already an expert on every subject. Many Americans have adopted a “Don’t Talk to Me” policy, so insecure in their belief systems that they dare not allow anyone to challenge that belief system for fear that they will find themselves cornered and embarrassed, unable to support their beliefs with any real facts.

Rather than face any form of reality that would force them to reconsider their entire belief system, they opt to simply avoid the discussion entirely by hiding behind the notion that they have the right not to be offended, or in other words, challenged on their thinking, or lack their of.

So, here we are, 232 years into the grand human experiment of absolute freedom and liberty, about to vote ourselves back into self-induced tyranny and bondage under the so-called progressive ideas of Democratic Socialism.

That’s a leftist Marx-like reality, but its new name is equality. It turns out that Marx was right about one thing. “Democracy is the new road to socialism.”

Free peoples would not have to be forced into socialism at gun point, if they could be trained or tricked into voting for it, via the constant quest for gifts from the public trough.

Thomas Jefferson saw the same long-term potential outcome for “democracy” that Marx saw. But what was political opportunity for Marx, was a frightening and ill-advised potential outcome for Jefferson.

Only two factors are involved…according to Jefferson.

    * A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.
* I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Americans have been tricked into both now. Most believe America is a “democracy” whereby fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine. The Founders’ representative republic, which assured every individual certain unalienable rights, has been replaced by the mob rule mentality of special interest voting blocs.

Americans have also bought hook, line and sinker into the Marxist idea that our government should TAKE “from each according to his ability;” and redistribute once private resources “to each according to his need.” They have failed to “prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

Of course, it is not politically correct to point out any of these realities. People, leftists in particular, will take offense to having the truth shoved in their face. And since they have the right not to be offended, we do not have the right to say things that might offend them.

The end result is a nation divided down the center line that separates capitalism from communism, freedom from socialism, the only two economic systems on earth, all others being only a temporary stepping stone somewhere on the path between the two.

Americans now prefer to invent their own facts and you don’t dare offend them by challenging any of those so-called facts.

Americans supporting Barack Obama have no idea what kind of change they are demanding from the likes of a well-documented Democratic Socialist, or any other current Democrat operating under the total direction of the Democratic Socialists of America, through their Progressive Congressional Caucus and beyond.

Though minimal effort and study will confirm the direct connection between today’s Democrat Party and Socialism, few Americans will ever take the time to make a connection that they can not afford to make. And the leftist news media, now to include FOX Network, aka ObamaTV, operates at the direction of the international socialist agenda as well.

Convinced that government is the solution to even the smallest personal challenge, they can not afford to learn the reality that they are foolishly voting America and every American into bondage. They dare not consider the reality that it is they who are systematically deconstructing America.

They are deeply committed to allowing their government to waste the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. They are equally committed to using their democracy as nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine, in order to shove their way to the public trough.

And, America is doomed to the ash heap of failed Democratic experiments of self-governance as a result. Any effort to wake up the American electorate at this late date will be met with this response…

Don’t Talk to Me! I’ll invent my own facts, Thank You…

Send this column to all of your “progressive” friends and family and watch how fast they become offended and demand that you never attempt to discuss this subject with them again… Watch how fast they invent new facts to defend their otherwise defenseless march into socialism.

Even self-styled “conservatives” have lost the gift of reason today. Ask them to help stop Obamessiah from putting the final nail in Americas coffin and you’ll hear a crisp - Don’t Talk to Me! I’ll invent my own facts, Thank You…

When I first heard former Senator Phil Gramm refer to our economic condition as a “mental crisis” and suggest that too many Americans had become “whiners,” my immediate reaction was, too bad too few Americans would comprehend the hard truth he just set before them...
Despite leftist efforts to run capitalism out of town on a rail, by talking the economy into the toilet 24/7 since the day Bush assumed office in 2001, America’s economic indicators have been the strongest in a quarter century, up until second quarter 2008.

Even now, the country is technically NOT in a recession, defined as at least two quarters of economic down-turn, negative growth, back to back. But leftists will keep working at it until it becomes a reality, I’m sure.

Technically speaking, as if the facts matter any more, Phil Gramm is right on both counts, though it was dumb of him to think he could just blurt out the truth to an ignorant American electorate at this late date. He wins the “dumb” award for not knowing how the “whiners” would react to such a comment, or how the dumber would jump at the chance to exploit it.

Gramm was NOT referring to the very real individual tragedies of families in real economic crisis, which exists even in the best of economic times. He was referring to the seven years of leftist “whining” about an economy that was miraculously very strong, considering the heavy economic consequences of September 11, 2001. This is the whiny mental disorder he was referring to, and he was right.

But then along comes “dumber,” Barack Hussein Obambi, who wet himself with glee at the opportunity to make political hay of Gramm’s dumb statement by acting as though he had no idea what Gramm was talking about. Maybe he doesn’t have any idea what Gramm was talking about, since the freshman nobody do-nothing from Chicago is completely clueless about most things.

Consider - the man raised his family in an anti-American racist church for twenty years without ever noticing it was an overtly anti-American racist church. We have to face the very real possibility that he missed all the strong economic indicators of the last seven years too… or that he doesn’t even know those indicators at all.

Obambi’s puppet masters wasted no time updating his “hope” and “change” stump speech with a new attack on McCain. Never mind that it wasn’t McCain who made the statement. A mere technicality which often goes missing on the mindless.

It was a shot at political opportunism and political opportunism is the one art Obambi has indeed perfected. He has half of a nation drooling in lockstep behind him and not one of them has ever asked “what kind of change” or what Obambi has ever done to inspire “hope” in anyone.

Twisting Gramm’s statement into a palatable spoon sized bite of anti-McCain propaganda for his transfixed minions took hardly any effort at all. Obambi-TV (the 24/7 MSM) was all over the story in minutes and Obambi supporters lapped it up like honey covered hemlock. Obambi and his minions win the “dumber” award for their consistent inability to grasp the obvious.

But then I have to talk about John McCain, who I have awarded the title of “spineless.”

Instead of standing up like a big boy and pointing out Obambi’s overt gross ignorance of economics, or taking the opportunity to use Gramm’s opening to point out just how insidious the left has been in their efforts to justify Democratic Socialism by constantly talking the economy and capitalism into the gutter, McCain spinelessly ran to the left himself…

This is exactly why both Bush and congress have the lowest approval ratings in U.S. history and why few Republicans are enthusiastic about the prospects of a President McCain.

The man has been a Washington D.C. fixture for so many years that he has his pander sensors set on sensitive and will blurt out the obligatory lefty response like a child’s See-n-Say, without a moments thought. Just pull his string and listen to him pander…

Too many cocktail parties with cousin Teddy has left John a spineless shadow of the formidable man he once was. Too many years inside the Washington D.C. beltway has turned his mind to mush and his spine to spaghetti.

Of the three stooges involved in this story, Phil Gramm is the only one worthy of a single American vote and he’s not running for office.

No matter who wins the general election this fall, the ignorant American electorate will get exactly the kind of leadership they deserve, none.

Voters have limited themselves to a racist nobody Democratic Socialist fraud from Chicago and a has-been war hero who can’t even stand up to anti-American leftist drivel anymore. Which ever one becomes president, the people who limited us to these two choices deserve what they get…

Maybe after four years of real trouble, the average American voter will come to their senses and demand that real leaders run for office in the future. That’s the only “hope” I see in the 2008 election cycle!

I “hope” there’s something left to salvage four years from now… Enemies around the globe must love both of these nothings! We’ve got nothing to fear but gross stupidity and we have plenty of that to go around this year. Hope we can survive it!

God help us if we fail to regain sane conservative control of congress!

This day has been a long time coming. We've arrived at a time in American history when we have reached the bottom of the barrel in terms of political talent and no decent American truly qualified to lead the free world would ever even consider entering the cesspool of national politics.
Americans have never been so disgusted with their federal government - and rightfully so. No matter which party the people have put in power, once in Washington DC, all politicians find a way to sell out the American people for a career ride on America’s best get-rich-quick scheme of national politics.

The current president’s low approval rating only looks good when compared to the even lower approval ratings of the Democrat controlled congress, and their overtly biased Democratic Socialist minions in the lamestream press. The American people don’t like or trust any of them and for a change, the American people are right.

Republicans are offering a candidate opposed by 70 percent of traditional Republican voters and Democrats are offering a first term neophyte chameleon, opposed by more than half of traditional Democrat voters.

As a result, third party fantasies are still foolish, but abundant. None of them have a chance to do any more than play spoiler to the two primary party candidates. But for many Americans, just playing spoiler to the two indignant party powers has a certain appeal to it.

How Bad is It?

It’s bad enough that some self-proclaimed “conservatives” are actually considering voting for Barack Obambi, the most inexperienced far left member of the U.S. Senate, while many life-long Democrats are planning on voting for Republican John McCain, the most unpredictable career member of the U.S. Senate.

Thomas Sowell asks “What’s going on?” [1] in regards to so-called conservatives for Obambi, while the oldest progressive (Democratic Socialist) magazine in America, Progressive.org, [2] sucker-punches the most progressive member of congress for not being progressive enough. They are right in their attacks too, for a change. I just can’t comprehend why a leftist magazine would ever attack a leftist candidate, but they are.

Obambi isn’t old enough, but McCain is too old. Obambi isn’t black enough, but McCain, despite his years as a guest of the Hanoi Hilton, is not patriotic enough, according to some of the most unpatriotic people in America.

It’s bad, real bad…

What’s a voter to do?

In short, every voter finds him/herself with only two viable options in this election cycle. They can choose to make the best of a bad situation, or choose to make the worst of a bad situation. Either way, it’s a bad situation… But how bad must we make it?

America is not in very good condition for another misguided misstep. The dollar is in trouble; energy and health care prices are skyrocketing. We are a nation engaged in a very unpopular and complex, but very real war. Unemployment is rising as the stock market falls and America finds itself surrounded by landmines too numerous to list, with almost nowhere to step without blowing something up.

Still, American voters must find a way to navigate the mine field and carefully set one foot in front of the other until we walk our way out of the messes we have created or allowed to be created on our behalf. We must survive to fight another day.

We can make matters worse, or we can buy a little time to regroup and make matters better. This mess wasn’t created in a single election and despite soon-to-be-broken stereotypical campaign promises of “hope and change,” it won’t be solved in a single election either. Only fools yet to make their first car payment, still fall for these lies.

So, What can I (the average voter) do?

For starters, I can stop buying into the tired old partisan chess match of Democrat power versus Republican power. Best I can tell, both parties are now actively engaged in anti-American destruction of the union. Though I personally see Democrats as the leaders in the race to deconstruct America, Republicans aren’t trailing far behind these days.

From this moment forward, I am neither Republican nor Democrat, Libertarian nor Liberal, leftist nor right-wing conspirator. I’m simply AMERICAN, which is to say, I will support any viable candidate that unapologetically and fervently supports AMERICAN principles and values, as defined by our founders, via the founding documents, no matter which political party they call home, the operative word being “viable.”

Call yourself anything you like, but if you don’t stand for American principles and values, you can’t legitimately call yourself American, even if you are running for office.

For me, the founding principles are not out-dated, but rather the only set of political principles on earth which have stood the test of time. You can call regressive Marxist principles progressive if you like, but the founders would call those principles something else, treasonous…

If my choice for the White House is limited to a candidate that represents only 6 of 10 founding principles versus a candidate that represents 0 of 10 founding principles, I’ll take the one that represents at least 60 percent of what I believe in and work with him on the other 40 percent until a candidate who believes in 100 percent of those values steps forward and tosses his/her hat in the ring.

Simply stated, I can choose to not make a bad situation worse, by throwing the entire nation under the bus in some childish temper tantrum allegedly aimed at teaching people who don’t care about learning the lesson.

I can buy time to develop better options in the next election cycle. This is the only means I know of making the best of the bad election cycle. If you have another way, I’d love to hear about it.

The alternative is to make the worst of it, to throw the nation into a tail spin just to enjoy watching the chaos and destruction. Conservatives tried this twice already with the same devastating result, in 1992 and 1996. Are conservatives now foolish enough to go for it a third time, expecting a different outcome?

It appears that the next president will be elected with less than 50 percent of the popular vote, opposed by the majority of American voters. Bill Clinton was elected against the will of the majority twice, and George W. Bush won the White House in 2000 the same way.

Every American longs for the day that a truly AMERICAN candidate tosses their hat in the ring and can draw a majority of voters to a campaign based upon common AMERICAN principles and values. But until such a candidate runs, we are left with making the best of a bad election cycle.

Shame on us, if we fail to at least limit our losses. Shame on our generation, if we make the worst of a bad situation, in the name of protest. Our children and grandchildren deserve better…

Obama's useful idiot minions [1] on college campuses across America may have no clue what types of change Obama has in store for America. But every Marxist, Socialist and Communist around the globe, knows all too well…
“We support Barack Obama because he knows what is best for the people!”

This is a very common statement among the many anti-American Americans currently marching in the Obamamania Revolution to force change in America. But I took this quote from a group on Obama’s official campaign web site, calling themselves, Marxists, Socialists and Communists for Obama”

According to the group’s statement on Obama’s web site, “This group is for self-proclaimed Marxists/Communists/Socialists for the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency”. – “Under Karl Marx’s writings we are to support the party with the best interests of the mobilization of the proletariat.” [2]

How can so many Americans be so easily duped into rallying behind the most unqualified man to ever seek the Oval Office, who also clearly represents the will of Marxists, Communists and Socialists everywhere? - In direct opposition to every American value ever known?

It’s much easier than you think…

Although America is indeed divided right down the ideological center, 50 percent of voters on one side of every issue and the other 50 percent on the other side, there is really only one fundamental difference between the two sides.

Both sides spend a lifetime in search of Utopia. But they share neither the definition of Utopia, nor the means by which to achieve it.

One side searches for Utopia in the American dream, via American principles and values of individual liberty and personal freedom to define Utopia and pursue it under their own steam via a free-market capitalist system that allows every human being to determine his or her own destiny.

The other side believes in the Marxist group-think definition of Utopia, where all human beings are not Created equal with equal opportunities, but rather made economically equal via man made laws, regardless of unequal individual efforts. This group seeks their idea of Utopia via the Marx concept, “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need.”

All other ideological differences are rooted in this one fundamental difference

Though both sides call themselves “American” and even “patriotic,” only one of these belief systems is wholly American. The other is wholly anti-American.

I realize this news flash comes as a shock to many of my fellow Americans today, especially on the well indoctrinated college campus where “higher learning” is better defined as “dumbing down.”

However, if you can honestly refer to Marx, Engels, Stalin or Lenin as “pro-American” idealists, you have spent too much time in higher learning and had the common sense drummed right out of you.

If you are inclined to simply ignore the truth that Barack Obama is in no way qualified to become the leader of the most powerful nation on earth, or that he somehow sat in the pew of an overtly anti-white and anti-American church for twenty years without ever noticing that he was raising his children in a racist anti-American environment, then ignoring the fact that he also represents the ideals of Marx and Lenin will come easy for you.

If on the other hand, you are a student of facts and well endowed with the gift of common sense, then there is no way on God’s green earth you could possibly miss the implications of a presidential candidate who enjoys the support of Marxists, Communists, Socialists and Islamic terrorists everywhere…

Out of the shadows…

The fact that Obama is willing to offer Marxists, Communists and Socialists, free public space on his official campaign web site demonstrates just how stupid he thinks his supporters really are. He is clearly not in the least worried about his American voters figuring out that he is a Democratic Socialist. [3]

And why should he be? Democrat voters have been trained to vote themselves gifts from the public trough for decades now. So what, that they don’t know it is socialism they are voting for? They can be relied upon to vote on this basis alone in every election, no matter what you call it.

Even most Democrats would never knowingly vote for “socialized medicine” on a ballot. But government controlled “universal healthcare” sounds like a great idea! Sure, it’s the same thing. But doesn’t the new name sound much better?

Never mind that they are asking the same folks who bankrupted Social Security and Medicare to take over managing the entire healthcare industry. That’s an insignificant fact, if your goal is Democratic Socialism, no matter the long-term consequences. I mean, we need change, don’t we. Does it really matter what kind of change?

At a time of war?

Yes, America is at war. However, according to Obamessiah, it is an unnecessary war. In Obama’s expert national security opinion, based on no such experience, we only need to capture or kill Obama bin Laden to end world wide Jihad on the west, currently being waged in more than 70 countries, including our own, by more than 100 million Islamic Jihadists.

Oh, I know what you’re thinking, the writer screwed up. There are more than a billion Muslims in the world. Yes, but remember, Obama has declared that 90 percent, including his family in Africa, are “peaceful” Muslims. So, we should only worry about the 10 percent, or 100 million who are not peaceful… and we only need to kill one of them to stop the other 100 million…

Again, if Obama’s Muslim heritage supports his claim to be Christian in your mind; this is only another set of sad facts to be ignored.

But come on… You excuse his completely blank résumé. You ignore that he runs as a “black” man, even though you know that half of his family tree is white.

I don’t care what color he is, but clearly, he does. Or, at least he cares very much which color you think he is…

Where are his books about the white side of his family tree, which is the side that raised him and put him through college from the age of ten? He writes about his Muslim-turned-atheist father, who left him at the age of 2, as the greatest influence in his life? I can’t remember anything at all from when I was 2… Can you?

You ignored the fact that he somehow overlooked twenty years of anti-white anti-American rants from his family church. You ignored his campaign ties to his communist trained cousin in Kenya, who killed thousands of Christians, burning them in their churches only weeks ago, just to secure himself the un-elected position of Prime Minister of Kenya.

The truth shall set you free, Obama-maniacs!

FDR said “there is nothing to fear but fear itself.”

And that’s why Obama and his supporters work around the clock to conjure up fear in American voters.

But Obama himself, fears only one thing… Truth!

The more people come to know about Obama, the less likely they are to ever support what the man truly stands for. Therefore, the best financed campaign in U.S. history, more than 400 paid bloggers, the top four internet search engines and the MSM will work around the clock to keep the truth out of sight between now and November.

Every criticism of Obama will be played off as an “act of racism.” If he were running as white or even half white, that weapon would not work. You watched the Obama campaign hijack the DNC nomination from Hillary Clinton by using this weapon against America’s “first black president” Bill. If it will work against Bill Clinton, it will work against anyone.

Truth is what the Obama campaign fears the most. So, they will make certain that truth is hard to find and they will get plenty of help from all information outlets, including the search engines which are actively removing anti-Obama materials from search results under the heading of “hate speech.”

Don’t believe me? Try Googling American Spectator, the oldest conservative magazine in America and watch what happens. In the search result, Google will tell you “This site may harm your computer.” If you click to go to the site anyway, a Google page will come up with this message instead, “Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!” as you are being denied access to the site.

Based upon mail I receive from Obama supporters, I’d say there is almost NO chance of breaking down the indoctrination and reaching them with the truth before November. Try it and watch how vicious their attacks become instantly. See how long it takes them to call you a “racist.”

This means that every other American had better be paying attention and engaging in the process of over-riding the massive Obama Revolution. Americans who still hold the American principles and values dear, had better wake up and take a stand while they still can.

Marxists/Socialists/Communists are for Obama!

What about you?

Obama’s greatest claim to fame is that he was a “community organizer.” Maybe you should start by learning what a “community organizer” is…[4] Then study Obama heroes, like Saul Alinsky [5] and Bill Ayers. [6]

        label="Election News" />

At the risk of being accused of "racism" for not falling in line behind the first half-black but wholly unqualified man ever to run for president, allow me to introduce the useful idiots at the core of Obamamania.
Barack Hussein Obama, the Jim (Farrakhan) Jones of the 2008 race for the White House, and chosen Messiah of America’s loony leftist dingbats, is leading the race for the most powerful office on earth. The “How?” is the interesting part of the story…

As if we have not already seen enough evidence of ill-informed political lunacy surrounding the anointment process of the chosen one, Obama useful idiots have found a new way to demonstrate their gross youthful ignorance.

In a June 29, New York Times article titled Obama Supporters Take His Middle Name as Their Own, Jodi Kantor interviews several Columbus Ohio Obama sycophants who have decided to adopt Obama’s middle name, Hussein, as their own, as a demonstration of solidarity with their Messiah of change.

Kantor writes, “Emily Nordling has never met a Muslim, at least not to her knowledge. But this spring, Ms. Nordling, a 19-year-old student from Fort Thomas, Ky., gave herself a new middle name on Facebook.com, mimicking her boyfriend and shocking her father. “Emily Hussein Nordling,” her entry now reads.”

Like most loony leftists, the fact that Nordling has admittedly never even met a Muslim does not in any way impede her sense of personal expertise on the subject of Islam, Muslim jihad, Obama or even what her new chosen middle name, Hussein, implies…

According to the “ New Husseins”, “I am sick of Republicans pronouncing Barack Obama’s name like it was some sort of cuss word,” Mr. Strabone wrote in a manifesto titled “We Are All Hussein” that he posted on his own blog and on dailykos.com.

Mr. Obama is a Christian, not a Muslim. Hussein is a family name inherited from a Kenyan father he barely knew, who was born a Muslim and died an atheist. But the name has become a political liability. Some critics on cable television talk shows dwell on it, while others, on blogs or in e-mail messages, use it to falsely assert that Mr. Obama is a Muslim or, more fantastically, a terrorist.

This is a perfect example of why America might want to consider raising the legal voting age to those who have had to balance a household budget, make their first car payment, or wipe their own nose…before allowing them a voice in the running of a nation they clearly haven’t the faintest idea about.

A trip to left-wing blogs Democratic Underground or the Dailykos will provide a spine-chilling glimpse at just how ill-informed and anti-American the “New Hussein” crowd is today. It will also evidence what kinds of mindless garbage are being spoon-fed to our nation’s youth on college campuses across this nation.

A Chicago Tribune column on the same topic notes, “Mark Elrod, a political science professor at Harding University in Searcy, Ark., is organizing students and friends to declare their Husseinhood on Facebook on Aug. 4, Obama’s birthday.”

Nordling states, “When her father saw her new online moniker, he was incredulous.”He actually thought I was going to convert to Islam.” Yes, as the name “Hussein” is of Muslim descent, why would one think anything else?

The lunacy is in the fact that Nordling and her fellow useful idiots are unable to make the same connections concerning the name Hussein or their hero, Obamessiah.

One should not be shocked however…

Obama Kool-Aid drinkers have demonstrated a continuous pattern of overlooking the obvious, failing to make even the most basic connections or ask even the most obvious questions before climbing aboard the Obamessiah train headed for slaughter.

    * They look at Obama and see only a “black” candidate, ignoring entirely the white half of his family tree, which is the side of his family which made it possible for him to be a US Senator running for President today
* They look at his twenty year membership in the most anti-American racist church in America and believe that he never noticed that it was an anti-white, anti-American church
* They look at his completely blank résumé and conclude that he is uniquely qualified to be commander-in-chief at a time in history when very few are truly qualified for such a daunting task
* They listen to Obama talk about “hope” and “change” without ever asking what kind of change, or what accomplishments in Obama’s history would give them any reason for hope
* They hear “universal health care” without hearing “socialized medicine” or connecting the dots that they are asking the same people who bankrupted Social Security and Medicare to bankrupt the entire health care system

Bottom line, America’s most illiterate voters are supporting Obama and they are now adopting the MUSLIM name Hussein to prove just how ignorant they really are…

The New York Times column points out, “Ms. Miller and her fellow new Husseins are embracing the traditionally Muslim name even as the Obama campaign shies away from Muslim associations. Campaign workers ushered two women in head scarves out of a camera’s range at a rally this month in Detroit.”

When even a left-wing rag like the Times is dumbfounded by the actions of their regular leftist readers, you know something has gone horribly awry…

Obama supporters give all new meaning to the term useful idiots. But they have a vote just the same, and that should worry EVERY American.

But all is not yet lost. An increasing number of old JFK Democrats are coming around. You can find them on activist blogs like NObama and Democrats for McCain.

The open question is; are there enough useful idiots in America to secure the Oval Office for the least qualified candidate ever to seek that office in U.S. history? We will soon know the answer to this question. In the meantime, the rest of America had better return to daily prayer!

        label="Democrat News" />

Allow me to begin by stating for the record that I realize how politically incorrect it is to single out a specific group of people and acknowledge their overtly foolish behaviors. But it seems we have reached a moment of insanity, when enough really should be enough!
It seems I need to give a speech to Democrats, which I have given to my children on several similar occasions. As Forest Gump learned from his Momma, “stupid is as stupid does.” People, who persist in doing stupid things, must sooner or later be referred to as “stupid!” We have reached that point with the average Democrat voter I’m afraid…

The one thing in the world Democrat politicians might be right about is the need for their voters to be saved from themselves…

As I have explained to my children, ignorance is the absence of knowledge, but stupidity is the possession of knowledge and the refusal to use it intelligently. As we are talking about obvious fundamental truths here, not nuclear physics, an absence of knowledge is not the problem.

Democrats think Obama is Qualified to be Commander-in-Chief

Yet Democrats can not name a single life achievement, or even a single life experience, which qualifies Obama to be president of the most complex and powerful nation on earth. The man thinks we have 57 states… or so.

For the record, Barack Hussein Obama is a first term U.S. Senator. Obama served only 146 days as a new senator before deciding he was qualified to be president, at which time he largely stopped his duties as senator to campaign for the Oval Office.

Now, where I come from, 146 days of on the job training does not make one an expert on anything. Yet it is Obama’s greatest accomplishment, in terms of qualifications for president.

To call Obama a “freshman” is an overstatement. Political kindergartener would be more appropriate.

Democrats think Obama is a “Uniter”

A “uniter” of whom? A black community organizer, in the tradition of communist radical racial rabble-rousing, yes. A twenty year member of a black activist church, run by overtly anti-American racist pastors, yes. A friend only to anti-capitalism leftists in search of proletariat control of all private resources and assets, yes. Husband of a woman who only became proud of America for the first time in her life, when it became clear that her husband might become the DNC nominee, yes.

But “uniter?” How? He can unite an already united Democratic Socialists of America, which already supports his bid for the White House, since he adopted their political platform lock, stock and barrel, years ago. But who else can he possibly “unite?”

Today, under great political duress, candidate Obama denounces his life-long spiritual leader and his church of twenty years and has even withdrawn his family from that church. But before the nation became familiar with his religion of racism, he described his relationship with Rev. Wright this way…

“What I value most about Pastor Wright is not his day-to-day political advice. He’s much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I’m not losing myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that’s involved in national politics.”- Uniter? Of the Black Panther’s, maybe…

Democrats think Obama knows something about National Security

Yet can anyone list Barack Obama’s national security experience? Does he have military experience? Intelligence gathering experience? What is it on Barack Obama’s empty resume’ which causes Democrat voters to think he knows anything at all about securing a nation of 300 million, or even his own home and family?

There’s no need to belabor this particular point. There is NOTHING in Obama’s past which gives even the slightest indication that he is in any way qualified to be Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces, and responsible for national security. Nothing! And we are a nation currently at war with a nearly invisible international enemy of the most brutal kind.

Democrats think Obama can lower gas prices

Like almost every modern Democrat politician, Obama sees the temporary gas price crisis as only an opportunity to grab more private resources and central power. Democrats are already calling for taxing oil companies into lower gas prices, as if those oil companies will not pass 110% of those taxes down to the consumer in even higher gas prices.

Other more extreme Democrats are skipping right past higher corporate taxes and straight to nationalizing (communist confiscating) the entire oil industry, removing it from the private sector and making it a government owned and operated entity. Energy and Medicine, two things a government should never be allowed to touch…

Obama opposes all efforts to increase domestic production necessary to keep pace with domestic consumption. He supports the idea of penalizing the industry for turning a profit, which translates into improved 401k retirement returns for very average Americans. Yet Democrat voters think Obama will lower gas prices? - Duh!

Democrats think Obama is “charitable”

Like all of their misguided beliefs about Obama, they think this solely on the basis of Obama campaign rhetoric. They call him black because he calls himself black; completely ignoring his mother’s white side of the family, as if they never existed.

I suppose I’m a racist for pointing out that Barack Obama Jr. has chosen to ignore the white half of his family entirely, while writing books about the magnificent influence of a black father who abandoned him at the age of two, only seeing once again at the age of nine, before being raised by his white grandparents in the absence of either parent. So be it!

Democrats love this socialist driven campaign statement, “Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it’s only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential.”

But they look the other way when Obama’s personal commitment to “giving” falls far short of the mark.

As reported by the Chicago Tribune, a decidedly liberal Chicago rag, “Giving, service and compassion are recurrent themes on the campaign trail for Sen. Barack Obama, but the Democratic presidential contender has only recently dug deep into his own pockets to support charitable causes.”

The Tribune column makes a very good case concerning Obama’s not-so-charitable past.

“Public attention to charitable gifts has led to uncomfortable moments for prominent political figures. Then-Vice President Al Gore came in for withering ridicule in 1998 when his tax return showed he had contributed just $353 to charity.” (He can probably afford $500 now that he is raking in all that Global Warming carbon credit scam money.)

Aside from a perfect demonstration of just how profitable the get-rich-quick scheme of Democratic politics can be, Obama tax returns shed a bright light on just how un-charitable the Obama family was, before they were under the bright light of national politics.

“In 2002, the year before Obama launched his campaign for U.S. Senate, the Obamas reported income of $259,394, ranking them in the top 2 percent of U.S. households, according to Census Bureau statistics. That year the Obamas claimed $1,050 in deductions for gifts to charity, or 0.4 percent of their income. The average U.S. household [$32,000 income] totaled $1,872 in gifts to charity in 2002, according to the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.”

My how profitable [greedy] public office can be… “On their just-filed 2006 tax return, Obama and his wife, a hospital administrator, reported taxable income of $983,626 and claimed deductions for $60,307 in charitable donations. In 2005 they earned a combined $1.65 million and gave away about $77,300.”

According to the Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University, even as Obama becomes richer and richer, he continues to give well below the average American.

According to tax returns, the average American household gives 5.9% of income to charity. Throughout Obama’s life, he has given on average only .4% of his income to charity. Even the bright light of public scrutiny has only been able to loosen up the grip on his wallet to 4.7% in 2005 and 6.1% in 2006.

Again, the Obama facts fall well short of Obama rhetoric. Still, Democrat voters believe the rhetoric over the reality.

Obama is Not a Muslim, but rather a Christian

His half brother in Kenya says he was raised Muslim, which should come as no shock to anyone since he is the son of an African Muslim turned atheist father, Barack Obama Sr., who gave him the Muslim middle name Hussein.

His mother was a white atheist from Kansas, who obviously had a thing for black men. After divorcing Obamas father, she married Lolo Soetoro, another East-West Center student from Indonesia, the largest Muslim population in the world.

In 1967, the family moved to Jakarta, where Obama’s half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng was born, and where Barack Hussein Obama attended schools in Jakarta until the age of ten, where classes were taught in the Indonesian language, until he returned to Hawaii to be raised by his maternal grandparents.

Barack Hussein Obama was indeed raised in the Muslim faith in the largest Muslim population in the world.

But more importantly, both his mother and his father were believers in racism and socialism and that played an even larger roll in the making of the man who became a twenty year follower of the Rev. Wright and a Chicago “community organizer” of the Saul Alinsky sort.

Democrats Continue to Make Fools of Themselves

As three time loser and DNC super-idiot Al Gore steps out from his Global Warming money making machine to re-enter the political arena one more time, endorsing Barack Hussein Obama for president, Democrats from sea to shining sea continue to follow the pied piper of the 2008 election to slaughter, making complete fools of themselves every step of the way.

Now, I understand why they are uncomfortable with having anyone point out just how foolish they are behaving, in their blind cheerleading for the most unqualified individual to ever seek the Oval Office. But at some point, don’t we really have to call it like it is.

As Thomas Jefferson so wisely pointed out, “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”

Even Forest Gump was smart enough to know that people who do stupid things are in fact, stupid.

But the average Democrat voter circa 2008 is obviously unable to distinguish fact from politically motivated fiction and therefore, our nation is at risk of being run by folks foolish enough to think Barack Obama is qualified to be more than a local scout troop leader.

That means it’s up to the rest of America to keep Democrats from harming themselves with sharp objects or voting machines.

Real Democrats like Andrew Jackson, Harry Truman and the real JFK (not Kerry), must be rolling in their graves at what a mindless Democratic party of socialism the DNC has become. My how times have changed, and sadly, not for the better…

“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge, and more.” - John F. Kennedy, Democrat

“We’re not going to baby sit a civil war.” - Barack Hussein Obama – Presidential Candidate

Democrats had better watch Forest Gump again… maybe read Jefferson, JFK and MLK more too! Wait, do Democrats read? Is there any chance people will stop being stupid if we don’t start calling it stupid?

Five members of the U.S. Supreme Court just sided with known terrorists currently detained at Gitmo in Cuba. In doing so, they not only provided “aid and comfort” to enemies of our state, but offered Constitutional Rights written solely to protect the rights of innocent legal U.S. citizens to known terrorists, and placed every American life in mortal danger in that process.
You can read the USA Today column on the subject here - http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2008/06/supreme-court-r.html

Our silence is our consent. We have been far too tolerant for far too long. We can no longer afford to be silent in our dissent my friends…

Here is the entire text of an email I just fired off to my two U.S. Senators. Might I suggest that you copy and paste it into an email or letter to your senators as well, immediately!

Dear Senator,

As a resident of Tennessee and a constituent who helped you become a U.S. Senator, I write today to ask one simple question.

The U.S. Supreme Court has made a practice of judicial tyranny for years now. Today, they have outdone themselves by placing every American citizen in harms way by affording U.S. Constitutional Right’s to known terrorists and captured enemy combatants currently being detained at Gitmo in Cuba.

As you know, we do not have an international constitution, but rather a U.S. Constitution written to protect the rights of legal U.S. citizens, not known international terrorists.

In my 48 years as a natural born American citizen, I have never seen such a direct affront upon the American citizen and national security by what was supposed to be the most powerless branch of the federal government.

While American soldiers die in the effort to track, capture and detain terrorists, five U.S. judges have just provided those terrorists with a “get out of Gitmo free” pass.

My question is this…

How many signatures do I need on a grassroots petition before I can count on you to introduce Articles of Impeachment against the following five Supreme Court Judges who have repeatedly subverted the Constitution, this time placing American citizens at mortal risk?

Kennedy, Stevens, Ginsburg, Souter and Breyer.

These five judges just provided “aid and comfort” to an enemy that will certainly exploit their anti-American ignorance. If endangering the lives of every American citizen by perverting the Constitution to provide aid and comfort to America’s enemies is not an impeachable offense, what is?

Senator, not all Americans are fools. Most of us know the current condition of our courts and that terrorists will soon enjoy the same results as O.J. Simpson.

I respectfully await your direct answer. How many names do I need Senator?

(Sent to Senator’s Alexander and Corker June 12, 2008)

If real pro-American change is ever to be, it must begin with me, here and now!

        label="Constitutional Crisis" />

Karl Marx was right. "Democracy is the road to socialism" - in a nation hell-bent upon voting itself gifts from the public trough. Once an electorate is hooked on government solutions to personal self-induced problems, like a junkie on crack, the democratic process once used to guarantee individual freedom is perverted into a tool used to extinguish individual freedom. Democrats call it a greater good. The rest of the world calls it socialism.
It only took America 232 years to arrive at this moment…

It is in this way, that Thomas Jefferson was also right. “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

Our founders chose against a democracy for this very reason. They chose instead, a representative republic, whereby the will of a majority could be represented, without running roughshod over a minority in that process. The key to a representative republic, or any self-sustaining form of self-governance for that matter, is ultimate respect for the individual. Not any specific voting bloc seeking to run roughshod over another.

The inherent and unalienable right of every individual to freely determine their own destiny is at the root of self-governance. Every initiative that intrudes, impedes or attempts to circumvent and alienate this fundamental set of rights is a direct affront on freedom and liberty.

Yet this is exactly what today’s Democrats have chosen. They have bought into the ideas of Marx, Lenin and Stalin, that the “greater communal good” of the working class (proletariat) trumps individual freedom and liberty. Individuals have neither the right to fail or succeed.

As a result, the entire Democrat political platform is built upon the notion that “fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine” - in the name of a greater good, of course.

The 50% who no longer pay taxes in America (most of them Democrats) have the right to strip the other 50% of Americans (most of them Republicans) of their lawful earnings for the betterment of a communal good. Only government has the right to determine each individuals worth. Even McCain and other Republicans have fallen for this line of thinking.

The central power in Washington DC must have the power to decide how much is too much and how little is too little, for every American. This is the definition of socialism, not self-governance. It’s also the basis for today’s Democrat Party.

Self sufficient American tax-payers are called “greedy capitalist pigs” while government dependents seeking the earnings of others are referred to as “generous patriots,” compassionate towards the welfare of their fellow Americans.

Of course, these generous patriots are only generous with the earnings of others, not their own. And those who earn and pay taxes seldom ask anything of their government or their neighbors.

Winston Churchill said it well; “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.” How can a nation survive leadership by people who often can’t manage their own lives?

What do we have when those who depend upon government for their very existence outnumber those who pick up the government tab? Because, that’s where we are in America circa 2008.

For years now, national elections have been decided by 51-49 or 49-51. When those who want to be government dependent outnumber those who want to live free of government intrusion, democracy will be used to strip 49% of the population of their rights in order to pay for the wants and desires of the simple majority.

Jefferson was right about many things, among them the fact that “Information is the currency of democracy.” A democratic society will never be any better than the quality of information used to make decisions. Today, we swim in a cesspool of disinformation and our democracy is showing the corrosive results of a poorly informed electorate.

Simpler times brought forth simpler truths, which would be politically incorrect terminology today. “As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy.” Lincoln put a fine point on the topic with this statement.

No man should be enslaved; therefore, no man can be master of anything more than his own destiny… This is my idea of freedom. This is the only American promise worth keeping.

Yet today’s Democrats seek dominion over the lives of others. They seek the power to decide the worth of individuals. They seek the power to “free” some by “enslaving” others. In the end, modern Democrats will enslave both. They seek the power of life and death over the most innocent and defenseless American citizens.

Just as the debtor is enslaved to the lender, the welfare recipient is enslaved to his caretaker. Government dependents vote for Democrats because they must. Democrats promise to keep them enslaved by keeping the bread crumbs of life flowing.

The American electorate has been trained to ask what its government can do to solve personal challenges. Not so long ago, the general welfare of our nation meant simply maintaining a maximum level of freedom and liberty which allowed every American an equal opportunity to determine their own station in life.

But today, Democrats have redefined general welfare to mean government entitlements which guarantee a big screen TV in every home, a new car in every driveway, free socialized medicine for all and equal economic status regardless of unequal economic productivity.

This is the Democrat version of Democracy and just as our founders warned, a government powerful enough to provide for all your needs is powerful enough to take everything you have earned.

Jefferson said, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”- “The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

We have failed to stop Democrats from doing just that and this reality leaves us with two more Jefferson quotes…

    * “Every generation needs a new revolution.”
* “Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.”

I wish a single Democrat were as wise and as American as Jefferson!

Until they are again, it’s up to the rest of the nation to keep them far from power.

At a time when American voters have been sold the bill of goods known as "Democratic Socialism," the nanny states promise to solve personal problems at the expense of freedom and liberty for the 50% of Americans who pay taxes, conservatives find themselves caught in the crossfire of a centrist campaign season.
What happens next may decide the foreseeable future of a nation on the brink of the worst possible kind of “change.”

Centrist McCain

Conservatives are angry over McCain’s less than conservative positions on numerous issues important to conservative voters. But running against the most extreme left member of the Senate, Barack Obama, they can expect McCain to continue his appeal to liberal Democrats, namely those who supported Hillary Clinton in the DNC primaries.

To win, McCain must carry most Republicans and some Democrats this fall. In order to do that, he must run a campaign that appeals to the centrists in both camps. This is where the rubber meets the road for conservatives, as McCain swaps conservative principles and values for political expediency, at a time when many conservatives are already fed up with political expediency over conservative principles.

Leftist Obama

No member of congress has a more solid record of opposing all American principles and values. Barack Obama is without doubt the most unqualified candidate ever to seek the Oval Office and even potential running mate Hillary Clinton has spent the last year and a half pointing that out to Democrat voters. But even worse, he is without question the most anti-American candidate to ever seek the most powerful office in the free world.

Under duress from party powers, Hillary Clinton has suspended her campaign. But she has not yet ended her candidacy, nor has she released her hard earned delegates to the Obama camp. She has made it very clear that she would like to be the Vice Presidential running mate, just in case Obama has an untimely Vince Foster moment, and maintaining her bargaining chips may help her in that effort.

But even an Obama-Clinton ticket may be more nightmare than dream.

Dream or Nightmare?

Symbolism over substance has been the hallmark of liberalism for decades. Some liberals are far more concerned with “making history” than with doing something in the interest of freedom and liberty for future generations. What better opportunity than to elect the nations first “black” (half black) president and “female” (feminazi) vice president all in one sweep?

But most liberals are just looking for the best leftist to represent their march towards democratic socialism, and both Obama and Clinton are field generals of the socialist revolution in America. Combined, they really do represent a “dream ticket” for American socialists.

That means that they also represent a “nightmare” for every other American, who still believes in personal freedom, individual liberty, self-determination and the unalienable right to Life itself.

A Nightmare of Another Sort

No self respecting American could ever support Obama for president. So, look how many self-loathing Americans are…

But McCain represents a nightmare of another sort. While McCain is far to the right of Obama, that ain’t saying much, since so was Karl Marx. Only Lenin and Stalin can be honestly described as left of Obama.

As a result, even McCain represents an undesirable shift leftward. Bush, the “compassionate” conservative has proven to be far left of those who elected him. McCain is left of Bush…

What’s a Conservative to Do?

Is McCain lying when he panders to the left on the Global Warming Scam, or on legalizing illegal migration, or on refusing to ask known terrorists when and where the next 9/11 might be in a serious way?

I’m afraid not… I believe that McCain actually buys into these and other insane left-wing notions. And that’s why he will likely have as many Democrat as Republican supporters this fall.

Democrats, who realize just how insane it is to run from the world wide war on terror and invite the war to our own streets by pandering to the most brutal international nuts, will not be able to vote for Obama or Clinton or both. They will vote for McCain by default, as will most centrist Republicans.

But where will the conservative base of the Republican Party be come November?

Limited Choices

Is teaching the RNC another Ross Perot lesson more important the keeping Obama out of the Oval Office?

There are two schools of thought among conservatives. The natural default position for most conservatives will be to conserve that which can be conserved in this election. They will reluctantly accept a McCain, whom they agree with only 65% of the time, as opposed to Obama whom they disagree with 1000% of the time.

But the other school of thought is that the time has come to throw America into shock treatment by allowing the worst candidate to ever seek the White House to spend four years destroying America so that the political pendulum will swing hard right after experiencing the disaster sure to follow the election of an anti-American socialist Muslim while at war with anti-American socialist Muslims around the globe.

Even I can make a sincere case for the second school of thought. Americans often have to be forced to action by extreme circumstances.

Had Bush come to the people on 9/10/01 and asked for their support in a preemptive strike against Al Qaeda, nobody would have offered any such support. But 24 hours later, with 3000 innocent American citizens dead, our financial centers in ruin and the Pentagon scrambling to get their arms around the greatest attack ever on American soil, Americans were in the mood for war.

That was almost seven years ago, a lifetime in America’s fast paced “what have you done for me lately” world. The focus on national security is all but gone. The average American voter has returned to life as usual in the absence of further attacks. Gifts from the federal treasury top the list of priorities once again.

What Principles?

Can throwing America under the bus in order to teach McCain and the RNC a lesson, be considered a conservative principled approach to the 2008 election? A selfish extremist approach, yes… but conservative or principled? NO!

It amounts to nothing more than a childish temper tantrum, unfortunately, with potentially disastrous consequences. It assumes that there will be something left to fix when Obama is finished and that is a really bad assumption.

People intent upon this strategy are not seeking to “conserve” anything. It is a destructive measure, a form of killing the cancer patient rather than cutting out or treating the cancer.

Even though it might feel good, or principled, the results will be neither. I have counted on conservatives to do the right thing all of my life and I hope America can still rely upon conservatives, even when they must do the less than desirable, in order to do the best available.

Liberals are known for their childish emotion driven tantrums. God help us if conservatives now suffer the same mental defect.

Flirting with the War on Terror - The most advanced military power on earth has not been allowed to win a war since WWII. Winning offends people, namely the losers. Therefore, in a politically correct world, winning is not an option.
Instead of defeating enemies, we now seek to appease them first, and contain them when they refuse to be appeased. Winning is not an option… It hurts people’s feelings.

International Terrorism

Many Americans have put the events of 9/11 in their past and moved on to pretend that it was an isolated event that can never happen again. Though they are distantly aware that international terror organizations still plot and plan against the west, time without incident has driven public concern over national security to the bottom of the list of things to worry about.

Though the threat is as real as it was on September 11, 2001, it is as far from the average voter’s consciousness as it was on September 10, 2001. For too many Americans, the threat is only real when it fully materializes. Until then, any effort to discuss the matter openly is played off as some political scare tactic.

Flirting with War

There is no legitimate debate over whether or not America has been made safer as a result of our reactions to the events of 9/11. There has been no second 9/11 and not because terrorists have lost the will or means to attack.

While we have clearly made some improvements in the area of national defense since 2001, we have not made much headway in allowing our troops to complete the missions we send them to accomplish.

While America is indeed “safer” than it was before 9/11, it is by no means “safe” and it never will be unless and until international terrorism in no longer a viable threat to innocent unsuspecting citizens throughout the west.

So far, we have flirted with the war. We have taken both defensive and preemptive actions to “contain” the threat. We have not allowed our troops to eliminate the threat.

Flying Blind

Terror profiling is now referred to as “racial profiling.” The intelligence agency (NSA) founded for the sole purpose of “intercepting enemy communications” has been attacked by Americans for attempting to intercept enemy communications. Huh? Come again???

DOD and CIA efforts to extract information concerning the when, where and what of future terror operations against the U.S., from the only people on earth who know those plans, have been redefined as an affront upon the civil rights of terrorists who are desperate to kill more civilians.

The Patriot Act was passed to eliminate the “wall of separation” that kept the FBI from sharing with the CIA, information concerning the Atta Al Qaeda cell that led the attacks of 9/11, which the FBI had identified in New York City a year before 9/11. It has since been attacked by the very politicians who passed it into law, as some “spy bill” aimed at average American citizens.

Any realistic effort to acquire the information needed to defend against future terror plots is attacked as an affront to the civil rights of international terrorists who have no such rights. When it comes to intelligence operations, winning is not an option…

With Both Hands Tied

Our enemy has no rules of engagement. Beheading, dismemberment, burning alive, mass bombing, men, women and children, predominately civilians of the most unsuspecting and defenseless kind, is the embraced standard for terror operations. There is no line beyond which terrorists will not go to achieve their goals.

But American soldiers are quite another story.

Unarmed civilians are the primary target of our enemy. But the unintended accidental death of a civilian caught in the crossfire, can get an American solider court-martialed. Our enemy seeks to attack unarmed and unsuspecting targets. Our soldiers are trained not to fire until first fired upon.

Since the incoming can be a homemade bomb strapped to the chest of a four year old asking a soldier for candy, only an American soldier would even attempt to fight under such rules.

Many American soldiers have lost their limbs or their lives to crude homemade roadside bombs, as they were bringing food and water, or working to restore basic utility services to Iraqi families, many of whom were also blown up in the indiscriminate attacks.

Removing the Hussein Regime from power took only days. But winning the peace in Iraq remains out of reach, because winning is not an option… We have the situation contained, appeasement efforts are underway.

The Politics of Losing

When all is well, when we are “winning” – the people won’t vote for “change.”

The people will vote for change only once they are convinced that present policies have “failed.” Hence, the three words used repeatedly in every speech by both Democrat presidential candidates, “failed policies” that demand “change.”

How far are they willing to go in their efforts to create “failed policies” and the need for “change?”

Three House Democrats, Congressmen Jim McDermott (D-WA), Mike Thompson (D-CA), and David E. Bonior (D-MI, now retired), took a $34,000 trip to Iraq five months before America would depose the Hussein Regime, for the sole purpose of undermining official American policy concerning Iraq.

It’s now public knowledge that the trip was paid for by Michigan man, Muthanna al-Hanooti, indicted on espionage charges, accused of spying on the U.S. for the Hussein regime. That makes these three congressmen “useful idiots” at best…

Democrat Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Sen. Jay Rockefeller made a similar private trip to the Middle East only weeks after 9/11, describing the trip for FOX News this way, “I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq – that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11.”

For weeks and months after that trip, we watched the Hussein regime move weapons to the Syrian Desert by convoy and by the time U.S. troops arrived more than a year later in March of ‘03, guess what? No WMD found… Surprise – surprise, as Gomer Pyle would say.

Democrats like John Murtha, Dick Durbin, Jim McDermott, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have worked around the clock to undermine U.S. Middle East policy, in particular the war against international terrorism. Hillary Clinton voted in support of every Bush initiative in the war on terror, including regime change in Iraq. But that was before she needed the anti-war vote-for-change in her bid for the Oval Office.

Barack Obama can’t complete a single campaign sentence without using the three magic words, “failed policies” and “change.” Even blatant outright lies will become true if they are regurgitated often enough, long enough, to useful idiots.

All of these Democrats and many more like them have worked to make foreign policy a “failed policy” that would demand “change” in upcoming election cycles.

And with the help of a complicit press corps, which has failed to report anything beyond daily body counts in Iraq since the day we set foot on Iraqi soil, they are succeeding in convincing the average American voter that winning is not an option…

Change is Coming

Bush is criticized for not taking preemptive measures to thwart the events of 9/11, even though nobody but the terrorists knew how, when or where those events would unfold. He has also been criticized for taking preemptive measures to make certain that Hussein’s hidden weapons program did not play a roll in any future terror attacks on U.S. soil.

No matter what criticisms the antiwar left can levy against Bush, history will have to record that Bush was successful in seeing to it that there was no second 9/11 on his watch.

But change is coming…

The problem with preventive measures is we can’t put a number on how many innocent lives were saved by those measures. To find out how many lives were saved by taking all of these actions to prevent another 9/11, we will have to stop doing them and wait until we can count the body bags that come with inaction.

9/11 was NOT enough

So long as winning is not an option, one 9/11 is not enough. It will take more death and destruction on American soil to convince many Americans, including many politicians, that in matters of life and death, winning is the only option.

So long as winning is politically unacceptable, change is coming… Watch what you wish for… what you vote for, even more!

While Troops Await "Support" (again) - According to chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, the emergency war funding bill currently stalled in the Senate must be passed by Memorial Day or the Defense Department would have to delay paychecks beginning June 15, 2008.
But this was no last minute budget request from the Commander-in-Chief that congress has not had time to approve. The passage of the war funding bill was not an “emergency” when it was first requested by Bush or introduced in the House.

Congressional Democrats have simply been playing politics with the measure for so long, that it has now become an “emergency” effort on a tight deadline. Even Democrat Joe Lieberman is outraged, in his Wall Street Journal piece titled “Democrats and Our Enemies.”

Old Tactics, New Priorities

Remember the congressional circus stunt last year, when Democrats tried to tie troop funding to a mountain of pork, troop retreat and defeat in the Iraq theater of operations, leaving the troops without “support” until the eleventh hour while they played politics? Well, they are at it again, but this time, they have a new set of priorities.

In the Spring 2007, Democrats were desperate to establish themselves as the “anti-war” party who would bring our troops home before they can complete their mission, all for base constituents at Code Pink, MoveOn.org and similar anti-America activist groups, whom they would soon seek funding from as they head into the 2008 election cycle.

Confident that they were far from enough votes to actually force early retreat from Iraq, they were perfectly safe in attaching the “retreat in defeat” condition to the Iraq spending bill that Bush was never going to sign. Bingo – anti-war status mission accomplished, without a single soldier withdrawn and in the end, they even gave Bush the money he needed to carry on operations.

Fast-forward to Spring 2008 - After House Democrats diddled with the 2008 war funding bill for several weeks, weighing it down with more “feel-good” do-nothing pork amendments, they finally passed it to the Senate where Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Larry Craig (R-ID) stopped it dead in its tracks.

With the help of committee Democrats, they piled on an amendment that included not only billions more in unrelated pork barrel spending for democrat pet projects, but much worse. In that amendment was;

    * Amnesty for illegal migrant workers
* Amnesty for illegals who had committed ID theft
* Immunity for illegals who had even stolen Social Security numbers
* Amnesty for tax fraud and tax evasion by illegal aliens as well

“No matter how one characterizes this enormous amendment, it still amounts to amnesty,” Said Senior Democrat Senator Robert Byrd.

As WakeUpAmerica points out, “This is not the first time that these types of bills have been introduced and have either failed or been withdrawn.

In May of 2006 and 2007, the Senate attempted to pass legislation which some believed would give comprehensive mass amnesty to illegal aliens, which failed. - and in September of 2007, the Senate tried to push through the DREAM Act which would have given in-state college tuition for young illegal aliens. That too failed.”

In 2007, Democrats delayed “support” for our troops in combat while they played politics over the war effort itself. In 2008, they have turned their priorities to Amnesty for Illegals and more pork barrel spending, as once again, our soldiers await the “support” every member of congress claims to give our troops.

In the end, they will give that support, at the eleventh hour, and with every other agenda item they can force upon Bush while they hold a gun to his head.

These are YOUR Democrats…

- And this is how they “support OUR Troops,” by placing illegal migration and amnesty ahead of our troops in harm’s way.

Again, Bush promised to veto the bill if it was loaded down with unrelated spending, and when the congressional phone lines lit up over yet another backstabbing attempt to sneak amnesty for illegals past the American voter by hiding it in a war spending bill, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pulled the AgJobs amnesty portion of the amendment from the bill.

Reid also pulled the increase for “skilled” worker visas from the bill. However, he did not pull the increased visa requirement for “unskilled” illegal workers, which were sponsored by Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD.).

This provision would exempt from the annual cap of 66,000 any H-2B nonagricultural seasonal workers who were admitted during the previous three years. This could increase the annual number of H-2B workers to over 400,000 by FY 2011.

To make it all smell better…

Democrats also added GI Bill and other after duty military spending, in the name of “supporting the troops.” These may or may not be good ideas, but the War funding bill is not the place or time for partisan vote pandering, or I guess, maybe it is… since it seems to work for some.

Aside from the stench, and the backstabbing attempt to ramrod amnesty past the voters one more time, this is exactly how Washington outspends every budget and is well on its way to bankrupting the richest nation on earth. So long as completely unrelated spending can be piggybacked on pieces of legislation that must pass, spending will always exceed the budget, no matter how big that budget might be.

Meet the Democrats who promise to clean up Washington! Stupid is as stupid does…

        label="Election News" />

When American voters think of the term "maverick," they often think of Senator John McCain because McCain has spent decades associating himself with that term. To some degree, McCain is right to call himself a "maverick," having independently departed the company of both his party and his constituents on many issues over the years.
The fact is, not so long ago every Republican was a “maverick,” an independent thinker prone to placing the long-term interests of freedom and liberty far ahead of partisan politics aimed at only serving the party interests at the expense of national interests.

Every Republican should be a maverick, bucking an overtly corrupt system and representing the true will of the American majority which still believes in an “unalienable” right to life, individual liberty and the economic freedom to define and pursue individual happiness without fear of government intrusion or penalty.

Instead, too many Republicans have sold out the basic party principles of individual freedom and liberty for the same greater communal good offered by Democratic Socialists and as a result, Republicans find themselves in a free-fall from power, losing election after election to Democrat candidates smart enough to run to the right of Republicans on the issues, even though they will caucus with Democrats after the election.

The Wrong Kind of Maverick

John McCain has indeed been a maverick in the senate. But he has been the wrong kind of maverick.

When he has departed from his party and his constituents, he has also departed from conservative principles and values, siding with Democratic Socialists on issues such as amnesty for illegal aliens, open boards for illegal migrants, the global warming scam, and his refusal to ask known terrorists when and where the next 9/11 might be, in a serious way.

Even now, as the presumptive RNC presidential nominee, he continues to pander to the left while thumbing his nose at the right, as if he’s more interested in solidifying his maverick image among liberals, than his Republican credentials among conservatives.

This is No Way to become President…

John McCain and the Republican Party leadership are clearly ignoring the lessons of the past.

Bill Clinton became President in 1992 with only 43% of the popular vote. That’s because Bush Sr. drove conservatives away from the party by appeasing leftists during his first term, just as Bush Jr. has done during his second term, and in 1992 conservatives revolted in anger. 19% of the popular vote went to 3rd Party candidate Ross Perot, most of them protest conservatives, and Bill Clinton spent the next eight years destroying America from the Oval Office with the support of only 43% of the nation.

A reality the nation has never recovered from…

Early Republican Losses, a Sign of the Times

The New York Times writes Republican Election Losses Stir Fall Fears and USA Today leads with Republicans fear public has lost confidence.

You’re damn right the people have lost confidence in Republican leadership. That’s because the people have not seen any Republican leadership since then Speaker Newt Gingrich came up with his Contract with America brainchild some 14 years ago, which opened with, “As Republican Members of the House of Representatives and as citizens seeking to join that body we propose not just to change its policies, but even more important, to restore the bonds of trust between the people and their elected representatives.”

What a great concept, conservative policies from the conservative party, representing the people not just blind political ambition - and it worked too, gaining Republicans control of congress for the first time in 40 years and returning the party to its founding conservative principles and values, albeit only temporarily.

The new Republican congress made quick work of keeping those promises too. But then they stopped doing what worked and returned to the moderate (compassionate) appeasement policies of the past once Newt left Washington, and they have remained in a tailspin with their noses aimed at the dirt ever since.

The bond Gingrich restored with the American people has since been broken again and today, one of the men most responsible for that reality is the Republican nominee for President, wannabe Maverick-in-Chief, John McCain.

Preserving American Values in That Environment

It’s time for a trip down Reality Lane here. I can’t speak for all conservatives, who seem unable even to agree on what the term “conservative” means today, but as for me, I knew George W. Bush was not a “JB Williams” kind of conservative before I voted for him in 2000 and again in 2004.

I knew he was just what he reported himself to be, a “compassionate conservative,” which any true conservative knew meant, compassionate towards some leftist ideas. He has proven to be just that.

But I also knew that Al Gore was a very dangerous substitute for George W. Bush, just as I knew that John Kerry was by no means a valid alternative to Bush in ’04. If he were running against Obama or Clinton, I’d vote for him again today, even though I disagree with many of his decisions. I would have disagreed with ALL of Gore or Kerry’s decisions.

Today, I know that both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are entirely unacceptable substitutes even for the Maverick McCain. John is indeed liberal on some 35% of his campaign platform. But both of his opponents are 1000% Socialist in their platforms. So, to pretend as though there isn’t a dimes worth of difference between them is not only false, it’s suicidal.

True Conservatives Conserve

Self-styled conservatives who refuse to conserve that which can be conserved, are either outright frauds or emotion driven loud-mouth pretenders. The basis for being “conservative” is the perpetual act of “conserving” the principles and values we hold dear.

In a perfect world, we would have a perfect conservative candidate to cast a vote for this fall. But we failed to nominate any such candidate. I know all of the reasons and all of the excuses offered for why we failed to nominate such a candidate, none of which change the fact that we failed. In the future, we will have to do a better job of making certain we have the kind of nominee we really want.

Today, conservatives must act to conserve that which can be conserved.

That’s how it is in every election…as there are no perfect candidates because there are no perfect people. (Myself and Ron Paul excluded, of course.)

Electing McCain (or anyone else) is not a silver bullet that will automatically conserve all principles and values we would like to conserve. It will protect only about 65% of the principles and values conservatives claim to revere. That’s a far cry from what will happen to those principles and values under Obama, Clinton or any other Democratic Socialist and that’s a reality that must be drummed into the head of every angry suicidal conservative.

The other 35%, we will have to protect and preserve through other means, standing at odds with the Maverick McCain and his leftist buddies across the aisle.

To do this, conservatives need control of at least one of the two houses of congress. In my opinion, the easiest one to grab control of is the Senate, which is more powerful anyway; due to its oversight of many Executive branch decisions, not the least of which is judicial appointments. Conservatives not directly engaged in sending conservatives to Washington in their home districts are pretending to be something they are not, conservative.

Socialists are counting on Conservatives in 2008

Democrats are equally divided over Clinton and Obama. Democrats are on the verge of causing the greatest racially charged culture war since the American Civil War. However, they also know that they can only win in November (with either candidate), the same way Bill won in 1992 and 1996, with less than 50% of the popular vote.

So, they are counting on conservatives to help them by staying out of the booth for McCain on Election Day. Nothing will guarantee a victory for Democratic Socialism like a divided conservative electorate will, as Democrats learned in ’92, ’96 and ’06. Some conservatives seem to have missed this history lesson…but all Democrats caught it.

Conservatives must remain intelligent and focused enough to conserve that which they can conserve, or they will lose it all in one broad sweep. Making emotional decisions while under fire is a liberal thing to do, not a conservative trait.

I trust that most conservatives know this, and that you will forward this column to those who might have momentarily forgotten in their moment of righteous indignation… please.

How did a freshman nobody senator from Chicago, with little more on his résumé than a 20 year membership in an anti-American church of racism, derail the Clinton juggernaut to become the undeniable front-runner for the Democrat Party Presidential nomination?
Who is funding Obama? - Who is voting for him and why? – What does he really believe in? - And why do Hillary Clinton supporters swear they will never support him in a general election? Is Obama an unstoppable locomotive or a train wreck barely clinging to its track?

Answers to all of these questions exist. But do any of his supporters care about the facts?

To understand what Obama really believes in, one need only study his adult choices. We examined some of those choices in Obama Exposed Part I and Part II. We researched Obama’s Unforgivable Sin and looked into the anti-American racist doctrine of his 20 year church membership, all of which would have instantly derailed the campaign of any other candidate.

Obama seems to be the newer improved Teflon candidate. The facts seem to have no impact at all on his supporters. Are they all ill-informed, naïve, useful idiots or just too young to have lived long enough to know better?

Having studied and written about American history and politics for years and run my own businesses all of my adult life, I am more qualified to run the greatest free nation on earth, yet I am smart enough to know that I am unqualified as well. Why do Obama supporters think he is even qualified to be scout master, much less president?

For those able to follow facts to their natural end before drawing partisan driven conclusions at odds with those facts, the reasons exist.

The Defective Clinton Factor

I’m certainly no Clinton fan. But when set beside Obama, Clinton is clearly far more qualified. So, what went wrong for Hillary?

At this point, Hillary must face the reality that even among husband Bill’s biggest Hollyweird fans, she’s not Bill. Unlike her Teflon husband who could do no wrong in the eyes of his sycophants, Hillary does not have the same mesmerizing grip that Bill employed over his Hollywood fans and hometown soccer moms.

In short, Hillary is the defective Clinton. Her greatest accomplishment in life has been tolerating Bill’s boyish playboy exploits. The would-be president in waiting stood by her man awaiting her turn in the Oval Office. It kept Bill in power for four more years, but it is sinking Hillary’s ship eight years later as Bill’s old friends defect from the Clinton juggernaut, one then another and another, as they step aboard the Obama train.

Hillary’s 15 minutes have passed and the friends that stood by Bill during his darkest moments are now standing by Clinton rival Barack Obama. It’s not a testament to Obama’s worthiness, so much as a demonstration of Clinton’s defectiveness. The Clinton era is over!

Obama’s Endorsements

Democrat powerbrokers once expected to carry Hillary to the Oval Office are now lined up behind the freshman nobody from Chicago with a blank résumé. The “who’s who” of the Democrat Party, Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) - Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) - Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) - Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) - Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) - Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), many of them people the Clinton’s brought to power, have ditched the Clintons for Obama.

Obama has done nothing to inspire such belief in his leadership abilities.

So why all the support?

I submit that there are only two reasons. 1) The defective Clinton has become unmarketable, and therefore a political lepper. 2) Clinton is not controllable. But the freshman who is in way over his head certainly is. Men like Kennedy, Leahy and Rockefeller want a puppet in the White House, not some over-confident nag of a former First Lady with a mind and agenda of her own.

All that Obama Money

In my last column, The Art of Buying Politicians, I presented the real facts about all the “international” corporate lobby money visibly behind the Obama campaign and suggested that people interested in knowing the real Obama agenda research the ideological 527 money in addition.

Obama is setting fund-raising records because his money is coming from all over the globe, most of it from well-heeled international socialists and anti-American elitists, not that his campaign ever talks about that, or that his many blind supporters even care.

Obama’s Jim Jones Affect

His supporters know him only as their “agent of change.” They heard this phrase, “agent of change,” and went into a hypnotic trance. Change is what Obama supporters want, any kind of change, something other than the status quo.

Of course, that’s what the followers of the Pied Piper, Jim Jones, David Koresh and Hitler wanted too. Obama supporters, fearful of modern day rats and in search of anyone promising a solution, no matter how insane, cling to Obama like the children of Hamelin who followed the Pied Piper never to be seen or heard from again.

Under the guise of “change,” silly solutions to real challenges, Obama supporters ignore all reality and cling to an empty, undefined promise without ever asking what kinds of change lay in store, or what makes this neophyte candidate qualified to change anything?

It’s the Sales Pitch, Stupid

Even empty words without meaning have power, among the ill-advised and desperate. Obama has perfected the art of saying what people want to hear, without really saying anything at all.

Like all national candidates, Obama has had to speak a lot and as he speaks, over time, he exposes himself. The best way to expose any fraud is to keep track of the lies they tell, and then connect the dots.

Connecting Obama’s Dots

On his Christian faith, Obama has said the following at different intervals. “I was drawn to the power of the African American religious tradition to spur social change.”

“You know, my faith is one that admits some doubt.” This explains why he has taken aim at what he calls “the religious right.” “This notion that’s peddled by the religious right - that they are oppressed is not true. Sometimes it’s a cynical ploy to move their agenda ahead. The classic example being that somehow secularists are trying to eliminate Christmas, which strikes me as some kind of manufactured controversy.”

As the son of an atheist white mother and a Muslim black father, being schooled at a Muslim school in Jakarta was a choice not of his own making. Like all children, these choices were made by his parents and he is not accountable for those choices, though as he has written about in his books, these were life altering influences. – “Our goal is to have a country that’s not divided by race.”

However, the decisions he’s made as an adult are all his own and Obama chose to follow spiritual mentor and twenty year pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who has been exposed as a pure racist who hates America and everything we have ever stood for. Obama’s recent reluctant efforts to denounce the anti-American racist rhetoric of his twenty year pastor fall short. His new pastor has now been exposed for selling the same racists anti-American notions sold by Wright, all of which is celebrated every Sunday by Obama’s fellow church members.

The notion that Obama didn’t know or didn’t agree with the fundamental doctrines of his twenty year church is about as believable as a twenty year member of the KKK making the same excuses. “I didn’t know that the Grand Wizard was a racist, and I was never present while they lynched black folks or burned their homes, and I would never have agreed with such ideas – and yes, I am still a member of the KKK….?” Can you even imagine the response to such nonsense?

Yet Obama supporters, who would never buy these excuses from a KKK member, swallow them hook, line and sinker from Obama. No wonder Obama’s wife has never been proud of America, if this is the America she has known all her life…

On the War on Terror, Obama has said, “Today we are engaged in a deadly global struggle for those who would intimidate, torture, and murder people for exercising the most basic freedoms.”- “Where the stakes are the highest, in the war on terror, we cannot possibly succeed without extraordinary international cooperation. Effective international police actions require the highest degree of intelligence sharing, planning and collaborative enforcement.” – “When we think of the major threats to our national security, the first to come to mind are nuclear proliferation, rogue states and global terrorism.”

Yet in facing Al Qaeda cells in Iraq, or the well-known terror regime of the Hussein family, Obama says, “We’re not going to baby sit a civil war.” What is the basis of that “civil war,” if not the same international struggle between those who want to live free and peacefully, and “those who would intimidate, torture, and murder people for exercising the most basic freedoms?” Why is Iraq not included in “extraordinary international cooperation - intelligence sharing, planning and collaborative enforcement?”

“- the defeat of international terrorism – and most importantly, the prevention of these terrorist organizations from obtaining weapons of mass destruction—will require the cooperation of many nations.” Not to include Iraq, apparently…

On the “unalienable” right to Life, Obama says, “No one is pro-abortion.” Yet Obama has voted against Life and for Abortion at every opportunity. It’s not possible to have a more “pro-abortion” record than Obama.

On the Second Amendment, Obama says, “I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manufacturer’s lobby.” – He’s referring to gun control laws that remove guns only from law abiding citizens. But concerning “gangbangers” he says, “we need to acknowledge that there’s a hole in his heart,” once again promoting the notion that law abiding citizens and gun manufacturers must be reigned in, because criminals are the real victims here…

On energy independence, Obama says, “Our enemies are fully aware that they can use oil as a weapon against America. And if we don’t take this threat as seriously as the bombs they build or the guns they buy, we will be fighting the War on Terror with one hand tied behind our back.”

Yet Obama opposes securing Iraqi oil fields for legitimate world supply, increased domestic oil exploration, drilling and refining.

Like All Democratic Socialists

It’s the sales pitch, stupid! Obama knows what to say and when to say it, even though he has taken both sides of all issues at one point or another and only someone willing to do the research and connect the dots will ever know exactly what he stands for…

Obama leads his followers to slaughter with slick campaign sound-bites carefully crafted to attract people seeking change; foolish enough not to ask what kind of change.

Obama is becoming the Democrat nominee by default. He is less objectionable than Hillary Clinton, and able to hypnotize many young Americans by way of his sales pitch, seeking gifts from the federal trough.

America has never seen a less qualified candidate for the highest office in the land. Yet he is winning the race for the White House by every measurable standard.

If his supporters never stop to actually study their candidate, he is an unstoppable locomotive headed for the Oval Office. If his supporters snap out of their entranced state long enough to study the man, Obama is a train wreck waiting to happen.

America hangs in the balance!

The 2008 Presidential election promises to make history no matter who wins. It will cost more than $1 Billion dollars to fill a $400,000 a year job and not one of the three remaining candidates is qualified for that job. Now that’s a history making event worthy of comment!
Every dollar is spent in an effort to buy a politician and every politician is for sale. There are only four types of political contributions.

    * The individual attempt to buy gifts from the public trough via Democratic Socialism
* The individual effort to buy freedom and liberty and reverse Democratic Socialism
* The institutional effort to buy commercial advantage in an increasingly over-regulated economy
* The international effort to buy access to American assets for global use

Every penny spent on national campaigns represents an investment in one or more of these four categories. At the base, there are two opposing agendas. On one side are those seeking the rights to the earnings of others for personal gifts from and treasury and/or commercial advantage by way of government secured and protected monopolies for profit.

On the other side are those seeking the old American right to Life, Liberty and Happiness in a free-market of ideas, enterprise and individual earnings. These two concepts are always at war with each other and in modern politics, politicians pander to one side or the other, sometimes both, in pursuit of personal political power and wealth.

Despite campaign rhetoric, every candidate is for sale. The question is, - who is buying them and for which agenda? This is a study of the top 20 institutional political investors for each of the three remaining presidential candidates in the 2008 race - and you might be surprised to learn who is buying whom and why. Believe it - EVERY last penny is intended to “lobby” the recipient for future favor!

As you will see, the notion that “fat cat” corporate investors are not influencing every campaign is an outright lie. These are America’s smartest investors. This money is not being spent for nothing.

Meet the Pros

The most professional political investors are those smart enough to buy favor from all candidates so that no matter who wins the election, their favors are covered. In the top 20 institutional investors list, we find five such investors and to no surprise, all five are masters of investment strategy and they have only one political ideology, win no matter what. In order of contribution, they are…

These five institutional givers appear on the top 20 donors list for each of the three presidential candidates. And again, contrary to campaign rhetoric, you can see that these “fat cat” institutional investors favor Democrats Obama and Clinton, not capitalist Republican pig John McCain. So, one can conclude that these five companies belong in categories 1 and 3 above, but are hedging their bets to cover their favors no matter who wins the election. Obama is the big winner in this category.

Meet the Democratic Socialist Ideologues

These investors are driven by political ideologies and they invest only in those politicians who see things as they see them. They too hedge their bets a bit by funding all candidates who represent their ideology, in hopes that at least one of them will win. They do not fund across ideological lines to any degree. The following seven institutional givers appear only on Democrats Obama and Clinton top 20 donor lists.

In the anti-Obama camp, Clinton wins this category.

So far, we can see that capitalist Republican pig John McCain is not doing so well with “fat cat” corporate investors attempting to buy a politician. When we take a look at the top 20 for each candidate, here’s who is winning the race for “fat cat” corporate “lobby” campaign funds.

    * 1st Place goes to Barack Obama - $5,716,902 (43.3%)
* 2nd Place goes to Hillary Clinton - $5,121,632 (38.8%)
* 3rd Place goes to John McCain – 2,376,705 (18%)

Barack Obama is the clear winner among the top 20 political “fat cats.” But if we study the campaign totals from all institutional givers, Obama’s margin of victory is much larger than it appears here. Obama is by far the best funded political campaign of the season and as you can see, it isn’t all coming from poor little government dependent voters in $10.00 contributions as his campaign claims.

To look even closer at the money in search of favor, we will look at the donors who have given exclusively to each campaign.

This group of political investors belongs to groups 2 and 3 above, seeking free open markets, capitalism and individual freedom to make individual choices. This is the only group McCain is winning.

The Agendas are clear in the Donors Lists

Obama’s support is coming largely from the “elitist” crowd of international lawyers, powerbrokers and ethnic organizations hoping to seat the second black president.

Clinton’s support is coming from the “elitist” crowd of international lawyers, powerbrokers, and pro-abortion women’s groups hoping to seat the former First Lady behind the Oval Office desk and turn Bill loose in his playpen again.

McCain’s support is coming mostly from U.S. corporations seeking to protect free-market conditions. Though I can’t let the Spanish Language Media Group or the International asset manage company go without note, due to McCain’s ongoing support for open immigration laws and some form of amnesty for illegal migrants already living in America.

Having said that, the stark differences in the donors list of top 20 for each candidate make the agenda’s behind each candidate glaringly obvious. Two candidates are raising money from elitist sources interested in global socialist international initiatives and one is funded largely by U.S. organizations interested in U.S. interests.

Again, a look at all of the institutional investors for these three candidates galvanizes this picture even further. Much more detail is available at http://www.OpenSecrets.org

An even Finer Point on Topic

The ill-advised passage of McCain-Feingold resulted in the advent of the 527 organization, where millions more are poured into the election process in a completely unregulated and often untraceable form.

Democrats invented and lead the 527 fund-raising race by wide margin as well, money above and beyond all the direct campaign money reported here. The agendas of the three candidates come into crystal clear focus when you research the agenda’s of the 527 organization behind each candidate.

The Inescapable Conclusion

All politicians are for sale. Every penny invested in any campaign has a purpose to it and an expected return attached to it. Rich “fat cats” are NOT leaning towards Republican McCain, but rather towards Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Rupert Murdoch and News Corp are not part of some “right-wing” propaganda machine since they are supporting Hillary Clinton for President.

And when it comes to “fat cat” elitist powerbrokers buying politicians, Barack Obama is hands down the clear favorite!

Keep these facts in mind as you listen to each candidate blame the other for selling out to corporate contributions, international interests and “fat cat” elitists….

The facts really do matter!

If we continue to ignore them, we get what we deserve because as Forest Gump’s momma said, “stupid is as stupid does!”

For more than 200 years, America reigned as the worlds most productive, prosperous, powerful and generous nation on earth. Like all nations, America is nothing more or less than the sum of its people and their belief system.
In the case of America, they were once a people who had risked all to gain national independence and sovereignty, individual liberty and personal freedom for every man, woman and child. Generation after generation volunteered the blood of its best citizens to protect individual rights from all who would attack them in the name of some greater common good.

The brave who demanded to be free, understood that there is no good on earth greater than that of individual freedom and thousands of good men have died preserving those freedoms for others.

Today, these ideas are capturing the imaginations of people around the world who have never known freedom, thanks to the American spirit still alive and well in the American soldier, who still offers his life to provide freedom for complete strangers all over the world.

But in America, these Same Ideas are Dying

Many Americans have bought into a greater good sold as “economic equality.” This is the cancer that is bringing freedom’s reign to an end. The quest for political power to rule over the lives of others has driven politicians to seek ever increasing power over what were once private earned resources.

Individual votes have been divided into voting blocs and those blocs are purchased with ideologically driven gifts from the treasury. As Thomas Jefferson pointed out so well, “A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” It’s called Democratic Socialism today.

America is at the Tipping Point

Jefferson warned, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

Yet by 2008, our government has perfected the art of wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. This is what our government does best and what most modern politicians sell from the campaign stump today.

Karl Marx’s idea, that “each must give according to his ability; so that each can be given according to his need,” has taken root in the most unlikely of places, America. As American soldiers die to guarantee others around the world, the right to individual self-determination, average Americans back home ar
